How Egretline works with partner advisors

Draft. This page needs attorney review before launch. It is not final legal text.

Who plans and books my trip?

Egretline Travel connects travelers with independent partner travel advisors, who are registered sellers of travel. Your partner advisor plans and books your trip and handles all payments. Egretline Travel does not sell travel, take payment, or receive any fee for referrals.

When you send a request on the plan a trip page, Egretline Travel passes it to an independent partner travel advisor. That advisor contacts you, plans the trip with you, makes the bookings and handles all payments under their own seller of travel registration and their own written terms.

What is a Seller of Travel registration?

Several U.S. states require businesses that sell travel to consumers to register with the state. In Florida, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) administers the Sellers of Travel law, section 559.927 of the Florida Statutes. California and Washington have their own registration programs.

How can I check a travel agency's Florida registration?

FDACS offers a business license lookup on its website. You can also contact FDACS directly.
